Effective Date: July 2025

This Limited Warranty ("Warranty") is provided by Varun, a global electric vehicle brand. It applies to all Varun-branded electric bikes, scooters, and accessories purchased directly from Varun or through an authorized dealer. Your rights under this Warranty are in addition to any rights you may have under consumer protection laws in your region.

Products Covered

1. Varun-Branded Frames and Core Components

  • Warranty Period: 1 year from the date of original retail purchase
  • Covered Components: Frame, motor, controller, handlebar, disc brakes

2. Varun Electronic Accessories

  • Warranty Period: 6 months from the date of purchase
  • Covered Components: Battery, charger, brake levers, thumb shifter

3. Cosmetic or Easily Damaged Parts

  • Warranty Period: 1 month from the date of purchase
  • Covered Components: Tires, fenders, lights, bell, saddle, battery panel, decorative covers, pedal covers

Note: Warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser. Subsequent owners may receive limited warranty coverage upon presenting proof of original purchase.

Warranty Labor

Labor costs for warranty claims within the 1-year period are covered by Varun. Customers may be responsible for shipping costs (usually $35–$80) depending on the region and issue.

Terms of Warranty

  • Dated proof of original retail purchase is required.
  • Varun reserves the right to repair or replace the defective part with an equivalent or similar model.
  • Defective items must be returned to Varun prior to replacement unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Exclusions (Not Covered)

This Warranty does not apply if the damage is caused by:

  • Improper assembly or unauthorized modification
  • Accidents, misuse, or abusive riding
  • Corrosion or environmental exposure
  • Lack of regular maintenance

Typical Wear and Tear Items Not Covered:

  • Brake pads and rotors
  • Chains, bearings, cables, and grips
  • Sprockets, spokes, gears, and bolts
  • Paint scratches, decals, or minor frame noise

Third-Party Components

Varun may include components (e.g. drivetrain, brakes) manufactured by third-party brands. These components may carry separate warranties from their manufacturers and are not covered by the Varun warranty. Please refer to those brands directly for support.

Shipping Damage

Damage from shipping is not covered unless reported within 30 days of receipt. To initiate a claim:

  • Report visible shipping damage immediately
  • Submit photos/videos and retain packaging
  • Notify us before signing for damaged goods

Damage from self-arranged shipping (e.g. freight forwarders) is not covered.

Limitation of Liability

Varun is not liable for indirect or incidental damages. Our maximum liability is the repair or replacement of defective parts only.

Extended Warranty (Optional)

Some Varun models may be eligible for optional extended coverage. Check with our customer support or warranty page for details.
